The Casselman Vikings won their 6th straight road game on Friday night, defeating the Perth Blue Wings 4-1 in Game 3 of the Barkley Cup Finals. The win puts the Vikings up 2-1 in the best-of-7 series.
Remarkably, both clubs trailed 2-0 in their quarter-finals series and had to win three straight games to advance to the semis.
Casselman are looking to win their 7th Eastern Ontario Championship since 2012. The Perth Blue Wings are the defending champions and are making their 3rd appearance in the finals since 2016.
