Caleb Kean (’01, Sussex, NB) ended a marathon game in the 4th overtime period of Game 7 between the Brockville Braves and Pembroke Lumber Kings on Friday night. Kean’s first goal of the playoffs sends the Braves to the CCHL semi-finals to take on the Hawkesbury Hawks.
Sami Molu (’02, Etobicoke, ON) made 57 saves in goal for the Braves. Reece Proulx (’02, North Bay, ON) had a 59 save performance for the Lumber Kings.
The other CCHL semi-final series begins Saturday night. The Ottawa Junior Senators host the Renfrew Wolves in Game 1 with a scheduled start time of 7:30 at the Jim Durrell Arena.
